The weather forecast for this week is stormy, mainly in the West of the UK. There are many people who are preparing for the floods, such as putting sandbags to their main door, hopefully to prevent flooding.

This morning I heard the wind blowing and the heavy rain. I was praying that it would calm down, by the time I go to work, my prayer was answered the rain had calmed down, but the wind was still wild. At 6:45 I left the house to go to work, when I went outside the wind and rain was hitting me, so I ran my car and got in quickly. I drove very carefully, while driving I could feel the car, being blown by the wind and also the road was hard to see, because of the rain pouring down so fast. I am lucky because I live not far from work; it takes only 3-5 minutes to drive there. When I got to work and got out from my car the wind blew on me and I almost fell over. There was a guy, one of my colleagues at work who offered a help, because I was struggling to walk with the wind blowing on me. I took my umbrella with me but it wasn’t helping, as I was still getting wet. If I used my umbrella it seems that I will fly and it was so heavy to hold, it was funny though because my umbrella had turned the wrong way around. I refused my colleagues help, because I know I could still manage to walk, even walking like a drunken woman... (Lol) What awful weather!!!
