Do you know how to speak Korean language? There are many people who are clever enough to speak different languages not only English. Somehow, I would like to learn another language too. At work, I have a good chance to learn Japanese language because there is a free Japanese lesson every week. But I don’t have time to go to or I am just being lazy even the learning area is inside the Company. To communicate to other people with different languages and races it is not easy, we should be able to learn their language. Just if you are in a foreign country and they have their own vernacular aside from English, you must try to learn their language so you can communicate with other people who don’t speak English. Based from my experience, I was in Qatar for a year and as you know they speak Arabic. Some people don’t speak good English that made me think what they are trying to say and vice versa I don’t speak Arabic. I know some words like greetings people that I usually used when I was there such as “Salamalaikom, wala kom salam, enshallah. I don’t know the right spelling. I had so much fun when I was in Qatar, very beautiful place, food, wide roads and villas.
This morning, hubby rang me from Korea. Hubby gave his hotel number so in case of emergency I can ring him. Hubby asked me some favour if I can ask BT to activate the international roaming of his phone but no chance. So I rang him back but I can’t get through to him because the number he gave me was wrong. I rang the number twice but someone who answered me who can’t speak English and same here can’t speak Korean(laugh). He sound so angry and he hanged up the phone, obviously. I phoned the other number that hubby gave me as usual, he sound so angry and he only said, “I DON’T KNOW…..” and hanged up. (sakit saku ear)
. Luckily, hubby sent an email with the correct number, at last. (lol) When I phoned the right number in his hotel room, a gentleman from the other side of the line answered and he was very polite. (Blessed him).
